In its interim order, the Madras High Court has advised the Central Government to ban the Short Video Making App TikTok. Apart from this, the court has also stopped telecasting the media house created by the TikTok app. In order to ban this Chinese app from the Central Government, the court said that it is promoting child pornography. Madurai Bench of Madras High Court has ordered this against a TikTok app hearing a petition against it. Madurai senior advocate and social activist Muthu Kumar filed a petition against the TikTok app to promote pornography, cultural degradation, child abuse, suicides.
