Whatsapp Dark Mode is a feature which has been in the news for a long time. There were also some UI leaks about this, in which the new Dark Battery Saving Mode was spoken, but this feature has not yet officially been said. Apart from this, all major apps like Gmail, Google Chrome and Facebook Messenger have also come to Dark Mode.
Users are eagerly waiting for this new feature of Whatsapp. However, if you have something too early, you can switch to the Messenger app's colour before the roll-out of official dark mode. If you are an Android user, you will need Android Q on your device and iOS users will need iOS 11.
Android users will need the Android beta version or Android 10 for this. Android Q comes with Native Dark mode. To enable Dark Mode on Android Q, go to Settings> Display and tap on a theme and select Dark. Now, to apply Dark Themes for all apps, you must enable developer options. Go to the About Phone in Settings and tap the Build Number 7 times.
Now go to developer options in the main settings page. After going into developer options, switch to "Override force-dark".
This will apply the dark mode to all apps. Except for the Chat page, it will now be applied to the dark mode via its UI in Whatsapp. You can easily darken the chat by going to Settings> Chat> Wallpapers.
iOS users have two options to bring the dark mode. However, in a method you will have to jailbreak the phone, so we will tell the easy method. The "Smart Invert" feature is provided in the iOS 11. This makes the colour of the phone display reverse. Like Android, chat pages also will not be dark. So here you can also darken the Chat page by adopting a method of wallpaper.
